Gladskin only works on people with skin problems that are caused or worsened by the Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. Examples of skin problems that can be caused by this bacterium are: acne, eczema, rosacea and skin irritations. This bacterium is often found on the skin and is in many cases the cause of a skin infection. It is estimated that Staphylococcus aureus is continuously present on the skin in 20% of the population and that this regularly affects 60% of the population. Gladskin will consequently improve the situation for the majority of users who have irritated skin, however &#x2013; if it is the case that this bacteria plays no role - Gladskin will have no effect.
